Android 14 On Your OnePlus 10 Pro – Get the OxygenOS 14 Update Now!
Chinese tech giant OnePlus has started rolling out the stable OxygenOS 14 update based on Android 14 to its second device in India. The OnePlus 10 Pro is now getting the Android 14 update that was announced in September this year.
Users on the OnePlus forums have confirmed that Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 is now rolling out to OnePlus 10 Pro users in India, 9to5Google reported. However, it is important to note that this update is currently limited to certain regions and appears to be available only to users who were part of the Open Beta program.
A screenshot from the original thread shows that the update includes firmware version NE2211_14.0.0.202(EX01). OxygenOS 14 stable update for OnePlus 10 Pro users in India introduces features like Fluid Cloud, File Dock, Content Extraction and Smart Cutout. The purpose of these features is to improve user interaction with content within and between applications.
For eligible users, the update is about 800 Mb in size. OnePlus hasn’t given an exact timeline for when all OnePlus 10 Pro users will get Android 14, but it looks like it’s coming soon. There is no word yet on when the OnePlus 10T, the brand’s latest release, will be updated to Android 14.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is available in Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black colors and you can buy it in India from the official OnePlus website, Amazon and Flipkart. The entry-level model with 8GB + 128GB storage costs Rs 66,999, while the 12GB + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 71,999.
Technically, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a QHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. With the screen, the OnePlus 10 Pro can automatically adjust the refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
